Mistletoe that grows on the mulga tree. When birds fly low they drop the seeds on the mulga and that’s where they grow. Mistletoe is also a totem for Kevin. The three circles are rockholes with water. Today these rockholes are a sacred site and are protected, but women and children can visit.
Mistletoe is tjarnkerne (pronounced ‘charnkena’) in the Eastern Anmatjerre language that is Kevin’s first language.
